Refurbishing that old gate

My dad initiated to improve the old gate because it's rusty and short. He wants a tall gate just like a typical Chinese house in the Philippines.

Here are some initial photos. 

My sister went to different lamp shops to search for the perfect lamp for our gate. I've asked her to look for an Asian looking lamp and she found it! 

We're aiming for this design that my sister saw somewhere and they took a picture to show the handyman. It's simple and elegant...so, I'm crossing my fingers!
